These are photos of actual C.B.E. Construction jobs, not stock images. Two are named below because the people who own the houses let us show the whole job, start to finish. The rest are single shots of work finished around White Heath since 1998.

A named job, start to finish

The Holbrook screen porch

This one homeowner in White Heath let us photograph the whole job, in order. It starts with the low deck that came with a yellow sided ranch house, worn boards, no railing, nothing you'd want to sit on for long. Then the deck stripped back to bare ground. Then new posts and framing going up square, before a single board of the finished floor went down.

What came out the other side is a full screened porch with a gable roof of its own, railing and steps built to match the house rather than bolted on as an afterthought. It reads across six photos here as one continuous build, which is the rarest kind of proof in this line of work: not a finished picture, the whole sequence.

The Kane kitchen

White raised panel cabinets, dark granite counters, and a backsplash of emerald green glass tile that carries the whole room. The island is cherry, built with room to sit and a sink set into it rather than off to one side.
